In the April/May 2005 issue of Legacy, Karen Russell’s altered suitcase was so packed with amazing artwork that we didn’t have room to include all of the wonderful pieces. Here are a few more items Karen included in her suitcase.
Postcard Box

Karen altered a school supply box and filled with with postcards from her trip. Technique: Alphabet foam stamps (Making Memories) were used for the lettering. Karen used Perfect Paper Adhesive and a foam brush to attach collage elements.
File folder
Karen’s not one to waste space. She had attached these envelopes to an altered file folder. After decorating them with stamping and collage elements, she filled them with small souvenirs of her trip.
