True

Lookout, Paris! Beware, Milano! New York, here they come! These fashionistas
have what the runways have been looking for - flirty skirts, jeweled
buttons, sassy belts and a bit of bling-bling! But this isn't haute
couture; it's fabulous fun with a template and some stamping!
Fruits
from the Pantry
While canning may only seem like something your grandmother did, preserving
the harvest from your garden (or someone else's) is a terrific
way to enjoy the fruits of your labors all season long. If you have
less time for elaborate meals, calling upon your pantry can produce
some wonderful dinners full of flavor and taste in minutes.

Scrambling letters and spelling new words is more than a language exercise
- it's artistic! Or certainly the way Lisa Vlach interprets it.
Lisa chose different rubber stamps with words or letters. Then she picked
a sheet of paper with old-fashioned toys. Using these materials together,
Lisa has fashioned vintage flash cards that look like she stumbled upon
them at a flea market.
Meet
the Artist: Christine Adolph
Inquiring minds want to know. Did disciplinary time-outs spent facing
the wall shape the destiny of this artist? For some people the sense
of smell is the most evocative reminder of the past. For Christine Adolph,
it is a scrap of fabric or a wallpaper pattern that will vividly recall
her childhood. "I was just weird," she states, describing
her early fascination with patterns and designs.
