Glass Oval Tag

This beautiful handcrafted glass tag is created exclusively by Stacy Dorr. She creates this wonderful glass piece with a technique called glass fusing. Glass Fusing dates back to the ancient Egyptians, and has changed very little in over 5000 years. The glass is melted in a kiln at around 1500 degrees. Due to the melting process, no two pieces are ever the same. You'll notice little bubbles in the glass; these occur as the glass literally begins to boil. We think this individuality adds to the appeal of these wonderful pieces.

This oval shape is unique in that they are double layers of glass, creating a channel around the circumference, designed to run wire, ribbon or other material from which to hang these unique pieces. Create and array of pendants, ornaments or charms with this specially designed oval glass tag!
