Foil Tapes

Originally used by stained glass artists to edge their glass before soldering, now a favorite by artists to create a quick and easy faux soldered edge to glass slides and tags. Available in three different styles, in three metallic colors, these self-adhesive tapes can bring a bit of copper, silver or brass accent anywhere you need! Brush a little brown or black permanent ink to instantly create an aged patina!

Stamp woman from Venetian Flourish (S7116) with black ink on a text background sheet of paper. Using Diamond Glaze™ (5JK-DIAMOND2) attach a Clear Torn Glass Tag (5SDG-TTCLEAR - Discontinued) to the image. Let dry and trim the edges. Apply Foil Tape - Copper Wave (5PP-CWFT) to the edges of the tag. Place a length of trim from Tea Rose Fibers & Ribbon (5FLTRFIB) through the tag hole. Attach a flower trim from Bronze Mist Collage Card (5FLCCBM - Discontinued) to the ribbon and three additional flowers to the bottom of the tag. Attach letters from Copper Alphabet Tiles (5ST-AC917C) spelling Amore to a torn-edge green strip. Attach the strip to a black strip. Attach corner flourish from Venetian Flourish (S7116) to a Clearly Impressed Large Rectangular Acrylic Mount (5CLR-3X6). Stamp the image with Stamp & Stick Gluepad (5SSC-GLUE) on the corners of a square panel cut from Somerset Artist Papers - The Venetian Collection Series (5SC-50200). Heat the images slightly and apply copper Pearl Ex powder to the images, as shown. Wipe off excess powders. Clean off the rubber stamp with Ultra Clean Stamp Cleaner (5SSC-ULTRA) and Double Stamp Scrubber Pad (5SSC-SCRUB) immediately after stamping. Tear off the edges of the prepared panel and attach to a torn edge green panel. Using direct-to-paper technique apply Stamp & Stick Gluepad to an embossed card. Apply black chalk to the card and then copper Pearl Ex. Wipe off excess powders. Attach the green panel to the card. Wrap lengths of beaded trim around the corners of the card. Mount the black strip and the glass tag to the card with foam tape.
