Pinned Sampler

Using the McGill Super Giant 1 ½” square punch (5MGSQUARE), punch out nine coordinating squares from scrapbook and/or decorative paper. Embellish punched squares using buttons, Melissa Francis ribbon (5HH-CX402), Melissa Francis lace (5HH-CX425), and pressed flowers (Dark Wine Delphinium, 5KAWNDELPH; White Daisy, 5PRE-560B; Pointed Green, 5KAGREEN). Punch two small holes at the top to weave pins through.
Cut an appropriate size of handmade paper to fit the look of your project. Line the nine squares in three rows of three squares each and attach with embellished pins. For the first row, two out of three of Heidi Grace Brown Pins (5HG-70206) were embellished using Heidi Grace Metallic Stickers in shades of Brown (5HG-71411), the second row features Blue Pins (5HG-70205) embellished with metallic stickers in shades of Blue (5HG-71410) and the third row features Red Pins (5HG-70209) with metallic stickers in shades of Red (5HG-71414).
If desired, cut a piece of chipboard to attach to the back of the project for sturdiness. |
