Canvases:
Creating mixed-media style canvases couldn’t be easier when using patterned papers from the Colorful Life collection! I decided to pair the papers with some fun Suzi Blu stamps in order to create these mini canvases to dress up my home décor.

To begin, I cut out my favorite patterned papers from the 8 x 8" Colorful Life Stack. Save the scraps from the papers to use for card making after you are finished! Next, I glued the papers onto three 4 x 8" canvases using a gel medium as my adhesive. I chose three colors of acrylic paint—white, ocean and raspberry to coordinate with the colors in the papers and used them to paint the edges of the canvases. While the paint is drying you can stamp your Suzi Blu images.

The three stamps I chose are Party Love, Party Girl, and Love Yourself, so I could have a different girl for each canvas. Stamp the images straight onto white cardstock with black ink. StazOn dries very quickly so go ahead and cut it out fairly close to the image, leaving approximately 1/8" around the edges. Using pop dots or foam adhesive, attach one girl image onto each canvas. The adhesive will give the images added dimension.

Cards:
After making the canvases, you should be left with an excess of three pieces of 4 x 8" cardstock. Cut each piece in half, so you will then have six pieces of 4 x 4" cardstock to make some handmade cards. Using cards from the white stationery pack, glue the 4 x 4" pieces straight onto the center of each card. Then, stamp or embellish as you wish! I added some small clip art images and simple stamped designs using the a u t h e n t i c p a r t y, c h e e r s f o r l o v e and h i d d e n t w e e t s clear stamp sets to add a little interest to the cards.
