It’s Pinning Time! Chalk It Up Pinterest Contest

Personalization is the secret ingredient to a recipe for a unique and heartfelt gift. We are excited to share a product that allows you to change up your personal sentiments to whatever strikes your fancy at the time. Chalkboard paints, papers, and labels are such fun tools to use if you want to give new life and functionality to everyday items.

Give your mixed-media and wearable art projects an old-school update with the new Chalkboard Paper Stacks by DCWV. These 12 x 12” sheets of paper make nifty jar labels, scrapbook layouts, greeting cards, and organizational boxes. With colors that range from slate blue to brick red, forest green to jet back, these papers pack an understated punch that is perfect for enhancing rustic projects.  Add just a stick of white chalk, and you’re on your way to turning a plain slate into a unique statement.

These darling Chalkboard Pendants were created with the Chalkboard Paper Stacks and a bit of delicate seam binding ribbon. You can achieve a similar look with chalkboard paint from your local craft store.

We’ve curated a Chalk It Up Pinterest board that showcases fantastic chalkboard-based projects that we stumbled upon in the blogosphere. These handmade earrings, message boards, memo pads, and planters are all super chalk-tastic.

Now it’s your turn! Create your own Chalk It Up Pinterest board with images of your favorite online images of projects embellished with chalkboard products–or upload photos of your own handmade goods.

Leave the link to your board in the comment section below. We’ll choose the top three boards that showcase the most creative and innovative uses of chalkboard products. Remember, we always value quality over quantity of pins. The three winning pinners will receive the newest issue of GreenCraft Magazine, and one grand prize winner will also be awarded a Chalkboard Paper Stack pack.
